10 Minutes from Home

This week’s DPS assignment was “10 minutes from Home.” We had to walk, bike, drive or fly exactly 10 minutes from where we live and shoot what’s there. No 9 minute or 11 minute trips. This was the first week that it had gotten past the weekend and I had NO idea what I would be posting (posts must be in by Wednesday). I’m usually a week ahead! So I got home from work Monday night and figured now was the time. I didn’t want to wait till it was completely dark out. I rushed out the door (of course I decided to drive the 10 min) and figured that if I headed toward Forked River, I would end up at one of the lakes when my 10 minutes was up. Well I didn’t end up exactly where I had hoped, but the picture was still pretty neat. Here it is…

Hibachi Birthday

Last Saturday, we met up with our friends, Ande and Lisa, at our favorite hibachi spot for a dual birthday celebration. Since my birthday is in the beginning of the month and Ande’s is at the end, we thought a nice dinner in the middle would be perfect. We had an awesome time out, as it always is when we are with them. It was also perfect timing as this week’s DPS assignment was “Food”. Here’s some photos from the night. -A

Animal Planet

Yay! We got to take pictures for Animal Planet….of people. Anyway, although it wasn’t our normal style of photography, it was a pretty neat experience. Thanks Joe for giving us the opportunity and Adam for being our model! – H

The Jersey Shore

Finally a day off of work! Amidst my errands I decided to take a quick stop at the beach. This week’s DPS assignment was “Sunny Days” so I figured a quick stop in Seaside would be worth my while. Here is some of my favorite pictures. There’s nothing like the Jersey Shore!! – H

Trip to Massachusetts

Whenever Heather and I have a weekend off together, we always use that weekend to hang out with our friends in Massachusetts. However, last weekend was very special as it’s the first time we get to see Jess and Todd’s new baby boy, Troy. Here are some pictures of the weekend with them.
