I get a call one evening from my friend Corey who asked if we’d be able to photograph his daughter’s baptism. I was delighted and honored, and of course I said yes. Here are some of my favorites from Tieghan’s special day!

It has been said that you can find treasures in the most unusual places…Since we were free for the day and the weather was unseasonably warm, we debated going to the flea market. Since all the snow had just recently melted, we knew it would be so muddy there, so we had second thoughts. All morning we went back and forth. Do we go? Finally, when we knew it was getting late and it was our last chance to go, we decided to risk it. Since I am a huge fan of yard sales, the flea market is always a treat. We went up and down the aisles finding nothing we felt was worthwhile, but having a great time just checking everything out. All of a sudden, there it was…a Polaroid 80A. This camera was made from 1957 to 1959 and retail price was $72.75. I would imagine that was a lot of money at the time. Although we discovered that the film will go out of production in 2009, we will still treasure it as a true antique. It was a great way to spend $3. And yes, we did get muddy…but it was well worth it. Here is a picture of our “new” camera!

Here are some pictures of a quick session we did recently. Hailey is an extraordinarily friendly child who constantly keeps your attention drawn with her stories. Interestingly enough, she showed us her hidden shy side when we brought out the cameras…but she came around.

We would like to wish Kayla a very Happy Birthday! We can’t believe how fast time has passed and that she’s now 3 years old. Before we know it, she’ll be driving and working…..but for now she’s happy to be a kid. Here are some favorites from her birthday party.
Happy Birthday Kayla! Don’t grow up too fast!

We would like to congratulate our cousin Justin and his fiancée, Susie on their engagement. Since they got engaged on Christmas, we took a few “Christmassy” pictures in a quick, informal session. We look forward to their wedding this summer! As usual, here are a few of our favorites…
Welcome to the family Susie!
